1999-2000: Ranked tied for 10th on the team with 5-9--14 totals while playing in all 42 games • Had the game-tying goal Feb. 26 against Michigan at Joe Louis Arena with just 4:56 remaining • Had 1-1--2 in a game twice (12/5 vs. Notre Dame and 1/22 vs. RPI) • Netted the game-winner at Alaska-Fairbanks (11/5) • MSU was 3-1-1 when he has a goal and 10-1-1 when he has a point • Set up Andrew Bogle’s goal in the CCHA championship game vs. Nebraska-Omaha (3/18) with a no-look, behind-the-back pass. 1998-99: Played in all 42 games for the Spartans, totaling 1-5--6 • Spent most of the season as the right wing alongside Andrew Bogle on MSU’s all-sophomore line • Filled in briefly for Adam Hall on the team’s top line with Mike York, during which time he registered his only goal, Nov. 29 at Minnesota • Had a pair of game-winning assists, including an assist on Damon Whitten’s eventual game-winner in the GLI title game against Michigan (12/27) • Received Academic All-Big Ten honors. 1997-98: Appeared in 42 of 44 games for MSU • Registered 3-2--5 • Spent most of the season as the right wing on the all-freshman line with Andrew Bogle and Damon Whitten • Had a goal and an assist as that line led MSU to a win at Notre Dame (10/31) • Added a pair of goals in the second half of the season, against Western Michigan (2/13) and Lake Superior State (3/6) • His goal vs. LSSU gave MSU a 3-0 lead as the Spartans went on to win 4-1 and clinch the CCHA regular-season championship. PRIOR TO MSU: Joined the Spartans after two seasons with the Bramalea Blues of the Provincial Junior ‘A’ Hockey League, where he played for head coach Lindsay Hoffard • Totaled 22-38--60 in 50 games for the Blues as a co-captain in 1996-97 • Earned the team’s Achievement Award • In 1995-96, he helped the team to the league’s best record and was named to the rookie all-star team • Was also named the team’s most improved player • The Blues reached the western final of the OPJAHL both seasons • A former junior teammate of current MSU skaters Joe Goodenow and Adam Hall • A 1996 draft choice of the Detroit Jr. Whalers of the OHL.
