Spartans Travel to Alaska for CCHA Set

Prior to MSU: Played a year and a half for the Indiana Ice, appearing in 50 games, earning 93 PIM and 14 points from the blue line in 2011-12 ... Began his college career at Sacred Heart University (AHA) in 2010-11, but left mid-season and signed on with the Ice ... Appeared in 33 games in his first season in Indiana ... Drafted by the Florida Panthers in the seventh round (183rd overall pick) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft ...Played two seasons of varsity hockey at Cushing Academy (2008-10),. recording six goals and 21 assists over two seasons, earning "Best Defenseman" award.
