2010-11 (Freshman) Named the team's Outstanding Rookie at the annual team banquet at the end of the season ... Recorded his first collegiate start at Notre Dame (11/20)... Allowed three goals while stopping 19 shots including a penalty shot against the Fighting Irish in a tough 4-2 loss (11/20)... Stopped 12 out of 13 shots in his first collegiate action, against Notre Dame (11/19) ... Came into the Great Lakes Invitational semifinal game in relief, playing 28 minutes, making eight saves ... Got his first career collegiate victory against Michigan Tech, stopping 22 shots in a 5-3 victory ... Earned back-to-back wins for the first time with a dramatic 4-3 overtime victory over Michigan in his first home start, a career-best 37-save performance ... Earned CCHA Goaltender of the Week honors for his first career shutout with 27 saves at Lake Superior (1/14), and made 34 in a 2-2 deadlock the next night ... Prior to MSU: Had his 2009-10 season shortened by injury, and was also the subject of a mid-season USHL trade from Sioux City to the Waterloo Blackhawks. In his 10 games in Waterloo, he posted a 5-5-0 record and 3.41 GAA for the Blackhawks, who finished fourth in the East Division ... Played in 2008-09 for the US National Team Development Program U-17 team in Ann Arbor, playing in 17 games with a 2.10 GAA and .916 save percentage ... Played the 2007-08 season with Detroit Honeybaked, and the season prior to that with Victory Honda.
