"I thought our team did a good job regrouping in the second period. We did a good job keeping them scoreless on the power play. Micheal-Lee Teslak did a great job keeping us in the game and gave us a great chance to win."

"It was a relief to see that goal go in. Their goaltender [Teslak] played outstanding, and they got that chance on the power play to get back in the game. I think our kids played extremely hard, and I thought Dominic Vicari came up with some big saves. I thought Mueller made the biggest save of the night, with the puck sitting on the goal line. Obviously, a win we're very happy with."

On Michigan State's third-straight overtime in the GLI...
"That's our eighth overtime game this year. As far as this tournament goes, it's a great tournament with great teams in it. You have to come out and play well, and we've been fortunate to get some wins here."

"I was just lucky everyone was on the other side of the net at the time. Mueller was yelling for the puck at the top of his lungs and two guys went to cover him, allowing me to walk out in front."

"It was awesome. I've never been in a hockey atmosphere like this. In the USHL, the crowds are big, but not this big, and in high school I definitely never saw a crowd like this."
