The United States and Canada will meet on Friday in the semifinals of the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. The USA advanced to the semifinals by topping the Czech Republic, 5-2, while Canada got past Latvia, 2-1. The winner of Friday's semifinal game (Noon ET) between the USA (4-0) and Canada (4-0) will face either Sweden or Finland for the gold medal on Sunday.
Duncan Keith has been a mainstay on Canada's blue line throughout the Olympics. Through four games, he has four assists and is plus-1. Keith is also averaging 21:25 of ice time per game, which ranks second on the team.
After making 17 saves in the USA's 5-1 victory over Slovenia on Sunday, Ryan Miller moved into second place on the all-time career Olympic wins list with six. Miller, the native of East Lansing, has a career record of 6-1 in the Olympics with a .945 save percentage and 1.30 goals-against average.
