Soccer Clinics a Big Hit in Lansing Area

Throughout the fall of 2011, the Spartan men's soccer program provided free youth soccer clinics for boys and girls ranging from ages 5 - 13 who are members of the Capital Area Soccer League (CASL).

Montague Makes College Soccer News All-Freshman Team

College Soccer News.com named Adam Montague (Sylvania, Ohio) to the 2011 All-Freshman Second Team. The first, second, and third teams were selected from first-year players in Division I NCAA soccer.

Six Spartans Earn Post-Season Honors

The Big Ten Conference announced its men's soccer All-Big Ten teams and individual award winners at the Big Ten Tournament banquet on Thursday evening in Ann Arbor. Seven Spartan athletes were honored for their performance during their recently-completed season.

Spartans Ousted From Big Ten Tourney by Indiana, 2-1

The Michigan State men's soccer season came to an end on Wednesday afternoon in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals, as the Spartans fell to No. 9 Indiana, 2-1. MSU spotted the Hoosiers a 2-0 lead in the first 47 minutes, and a late flurry of good chances did not get the Spartans an equalizer.
