Competing for a starting job at left fullback ... fighting to overcome knee surgery. 2002: Appeared in 10 games, starting four ... scored his first career goal, the game-winner, in a 3-0 win over Hartford (9/13) ... Academic All-Big Ten. . 2001: Appeared in eight games, including starts at IUPUI (11/5) and against Ohio State (11/8) in the Big Ten Tournament ... Academic All-Big Ten. 2000: Appeared in three games ... Academic All-Big Ten. 1999: Redshirted. High School and Personal: Attended Mason High School where he earned four letters in soccer ... two-time all-state selection and brought home all-area acclaim three times ... totaled 11 goals and 13 assists for a team-high 35 points as a senior in helping his team to a 14-2-2 record along with a No. 1 ranking in the state of Michigan (Division II) ... racked up 59 points (19-21) during his junior season in helping Mason to the state crown ... served as his prep team's captain his final two seasons ...
