Michigan State takes on the Hoyas in the third round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m.
Spartans face the Wildcats in tournament semifinals on Fri., Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m.

2013: Played in all 23 games for the Spartans, starting in 18...Fourth on the team with 39 shots, scoring three goals and earning three assists on the season...Scored the "the goal of the year," after he volleyed in an aerial cross by Ryan Keener to give the Spartans a 2-0 lead over Ohio State in the opening round of the Big Ten tournament on Nov. 13... Picked up an assist on the game-winning goal against Michigan on Nov. 9... Assisted on Jay Chapman's game-winning goal at Northern Illinois on Sept. 28... Netted the second goal of a 2-0 win at Marquette on Sept. 15...Scored the Spartans fourth goal in a 4-0 victory over Western Michigan on Sept. 1.
2012: Finished his first season with a 2-3-7 line in 18 games ... Started seven of the 18 games in which he saw action ... His first collegiate goal stood as the game winner against Ohio State (10/7)... Scored the game-winning goal in overtime of the Big Ten Championship game against Michigan.
Prior to MSU: Ranked 43rd in the nation by College Soccer News ... Named to the NSCAA All-American Team as well as being runner up for the MHSAA Mr. Soccer award -the best player in Michigan high school soccer... Four year starter at Forest Hills Central ... During his senior campaign, led the Rangers to a District title and Regional Championship, scoring 42 goals and adding 22 assists ... Earned MHSAA First Team All-State honors and was placed on the MHSAA Dream Team ... During his four year stint at Forest Hills Central, scored 100 goals and dished out 64 assists... Named MHSAA Division I Second Team All-State as just a sophomore and was an honorable mention honoree after an injury-plagued junior campaign ... Had an equally impressive club soccer career, competing with the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors ... Helped lead the Crew to three US Soccer Region II championships as well as four consecutive USYSA National Championship Tournaments from 2008-2011 ... Helped the Crew to a USYSA National Title in 2011 and was crowned as the Golden Boot Award winner as the tournament's MVP for his efforts ... Was also an Olympic Development Program participant at the State and Regional level from 2006-2008.
