Expected to start at the right midfield position ... came on strong at the end of the season and carried that over to a great spring. 2002: Appeared in 19 games, starting 16 ... recorded two goals and four assists to total eight points ... both of his goals were game winners, with markers vs. Massachusetts (9/15) and Northwestern (9/29).
2001: Appeared in all 20 games ... scored his only goal of the season in MSU's 2-1 win over Butler (11/23) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... tallied assists vs. Oakland (10/10) and Michigan (10/14). 2000: Started all 19 games ... tied for second on the team with 11 points, scoring four goals and three assists ... tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals, registering game winners vs. Robert Morris (9/8), Northwestern (10/1) and Wisconsin (10/29) ... added a goal and an assist vs. Quinnipiac (9/1). 1999: Redshirted. High School and Personal: Came to the MSU program after lettering four times at North Farmington High School ... claimed first-team all-state (Division II) honors as a senior, notching 42 goals and 19 assists for 103 points ... helped team to a 13-6-1 overall record ... three-time first-team selection to conference, league and county squads ... 26 goals and 14 assists his junior year en route to third-team all-state recognition ... played club soccer for the Michigan Wolves ... born 7/24/80 ... son of Robert and Sandra Hearn ... studio art major.
