2013: Michigan State's recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award... Appeared in six games for the Spartans, starting two of them...Made his first appearance of the season against Indiana on Nov. 1 after recovering from a broken foot...Earned his first start of the season on Senior Day, helping the Spartans earn a 2-0 shutout over Michigan on Nov. 9.

2012: Appeared in seven games, earning a start in each, before suffering an injury against Notre Dame (9/14) that kept him out of the lineup until the NCAA Second-Round game against the Irish.

2011: Second season as a workhorse for the Spartans, playing in 18 games and starting 16 ... Played 70 minutes or more in 15 of those games.

2010: Saw action in 19 games, while starting 12...Registered one assist on the season, his first career helper came in the 5-0 victory over Western Michigan (Oct. 13).

Prior to MSU: Three-year letterwinner at McKinney (Texas) High School...Was captain of the team and earned First Team All-State honors in 2009...Was captain of the Andromeda U18 Academy in 2009 and won the U17 National Championship with the team in 2008 and in 2007 his club team was the U16 Regional Finalists and Disney Showcase Finalists...Trained this spring and summer with the reserve squad for Los Estudiantes de La Plata (a Primera Division club in Argentina)
