EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's soccer game vs. UIC scheduled for Sunday afternoon was cancelled due to poor field conditions after consecutive days of heavy rainfall. No make-up date has been scheduled.

The field was deemed unplayable prior to the scheduled match by the respective coaching staffs, the officials and MSU athletic department personnel.

The Spartans begin Big Ten play this weekend when they travel to Ohio State to take on the Buckeyes on Sunday, Sept. 21.
