EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's soccer team, the defending Big Ten Champions, will kick off its regular season play this weekend hosting the MSU/Radisson Soccer Classic. All games will be played at Old College Field.

Michigan State will face U-Mass on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and Denver on Monday at noon. The University of Michigan will also be in action in East Lansing this weekend, completing the four-team field. The Wolverines will face Denver on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and U-Mass on Monday at 2:30 p.m.

The Spartans feature senior midfielder and co-captain Ryan McMahen (Munster, Ind.), who was named a preseason All-American by College Soccer News. McMahen along with co-captain defenseman Steve Doster (Frankfurt, Ill.) look to lead the Green and White in preparation to defend their Big Ten title.
