EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's soccer team will host the Ohio State Buckeyes at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 11 at Old College Field, in the second game of a six game homestand. The Spartans (3-3-4, 0-1-1), who suffered their first home loss of the season on Wednesday against Oakland University, will look to get back to their winning ways in this Big Ten matchup. MSU has not lost back-to-back home games since 1993.

The Buckeyes are 6-4-1 on the season and 1-0 in the Big Ten. The MSU vs. OSU series, has proven to be very competitive over the past few years, with the home team dominating the series. The last time the road team came away victorious was when MSU earned a 2-1 overtime win in Columbus in 1994.

Looking ahead for MSU, it continues its homestand next week with games against Notre Dame on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. and in-state rival Michigan on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.
