The Michigan State men's soccer team is fresh off a victory against Ohio State last Sunday in its Big Ten home opener. It improved its record to 4-3-4 overall, and 1-1-1 in Big Ten play. MSU is in the middle of a six-game homestand, and after two games it is 1-1. This week, the Spartans face Notre Dame on Tuesday at 4 p.m. and return to conference action on Sunday against Michigan at 1 p.m.

The Spartans are led by senior co-captain Ryan McMahen (Munster, Ind.) who scored both of the State's goals in its 2-0 victory over Ohio State. McMahen has six goals and five assists for 17 points on the season. He is currently in second place all-time in assists and eighth place all-time in points at MSU.

Both of the Spartans' kick-offs this week will be televised on Comcast Local.
