Givens earns his Second Team All-Region recognition for the second straight season. The forward ended the year as the team leader in points (23) and goals (10) and earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors.
Thompson, who shared the team captaincy with classmate Jeff Ricondo, made the All-Region Third Team, his first NSCAA award. Thompson was named to the Big Ten's preseason "Players to Watch" list and received First Team All-Big Ten accolades. The midfielder earned the Big Ten Offensive player of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer.Com and CollegeSoccerNews.com's Teams of the Week (Sept. 13) after posting seven points on two goals and three assists in two games. He is finished his career tied for seventh in the Spartan recordbook for career assists with 20.
