Michigan State Tennis to Host ITA Summer Circuit

Week five of the ITA Summer Circuit will be held in East Lansing from July 23-25.

Academic All-Big Ten Honors Announced for the 2016 Spring Season

In all, 96 Spartans were recognized for having a 3.0 or higher GPA.

2016-17:
Compiled an overall record of 9-21 in singles competition and a doubles mark of 8-11 ... Kim and Brett Forman boasted an 8-10 overall record in doubles competition.

Spring 2017:
Compiled a 7-19 singles record... Recorded a win against Nebraska's David Samardzija... Tallied up a 6-9 doubles record with Brett Forman... Played at No. 2 and No. 3 and posted a 1-0 and 1-1, respectively.

Fall 2016:
Compiled a 2-2 singles record ... Recording wins against Wisconsin's Elliott Spreacher and Ohio State's Riley Reist ... Finished with a 2-2 doubles record ... Paired with Brett Forman for both of his wins ... Both wins came against Nebraska, defeating David Samardzija/Micah Klousia and Dylan Bednarczyk/Toby Boyer.

2015-16:
Tallied a 15-11 overall record in singles play and a 5-19 overall mark in doubles ... 15 wins in singles play was second best on the team.

Spring 2016:
Went 12-9 in singles competition with one win in conference play and 5-16 in doubles competition ... Won eight of his first 10 singles matches to open the season ... Won four consecutive doubles matches from Jan. 29 to Feb. 6 with Ivan Rakic and Colin Harvey ... Defeated Matej Svjetlicic of No. 69 Western Michigan in three sets ... Defeated No. 72 Iowa's Jonas Larsen in a third-set tiebreaker to clinch the final match of the regular season and first Big Ten victory for the Spartans.

Fall 2015:
Won three matches in singles play, including wins over Nebraska's Andrew Dzulnsky and Wisconsin's Jose Carranza.

2014-15:
Tallied a 1-4 overall singles record and 5-2 overall doubles record before fracturing his foot in the winter, ending his season.

Fall 2014:
Compiled a 1-4 singles record and 5-2 doubles record ... Teamed with Jasper Koenen to win the doubles C bracket at the Vredevelt Invitational ... Paired with Doug Zade to defeat Nebraska's Court Clark and Vasilis Stavropolous, and Chris Schindler and Charlie Shin.

Prior to MSU:
Four-year letterwinner during high school ... Named first-team All-State all four years ... Selected team MVP every year... Four-year scholar athlete.
