Co-captain ... Completed his third season as a captain, the first player under head coach Gene Orlando to be named a three-year captain ... Compiled an 11-9 singles record ... Posted a 4-3 Big Ten record ... Finished 8-4 when competing on court two ... Appeared in the national singles rankings on Feb. 11, 2014, coming in at No. 125 ... Missed four matches between March 28 and April 6 due to injury ... Earned five wins over opponents on a ranked team ... Defeated two nationally ranked opponents ... Defeated No. 55 Pennington of No. 17 Kentucky, 6-2, 6-4 ... Defeated No. 113 Petrone of No. 26 Michigan, 6-4, 6-3 ... Took down Diaz of No. 2 Ohio State, 7-6(5), 6-4 ... Defeated Jalalov of No. 74 Wisconsin, 7-6(6), 6-4 ... Defeated Kovacs of No. 28 Purdue, 6-4, 6-1.

Fall 2013:
Completed a 6-4 singles and a 5-2 doubles record in fall play ... lost in the first round of the singles main qualifying bracket at the ITA All-American Championships ... compiled a 3-1 singles and 2-0 doubles record at the Bobby Bayliss Invitational and was named to the all-tournament team ... earned three wins and advanced to the quarterfinals of the ITA Midwest Regional Championships after defeating Ohio State's Metka 6-4, 6-4 ... paired with Gijs Linders at the ITA All-American Championships and advanced to the second round in the doubles qualifying draw ... teamed with Linders and advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships.

Posted a 17-17 overall singles record, with an 13-13 record in dual play ... Spent the majority of the dual season in the number one spot ... Earning 13 of his singles victories on court one ... Opened the dual season with four wins in five matches at the number one spot including wins over the 20th ranked Gonzales Austin of Vanderbilt 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 ... Overall posted eight victories in doubles action ... Paired with Drew Lied for majority of doubles play finishing with a 3-3 record in Big Ten play. Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors ... Named first-team All-Big Ten for the second consecutive season.

Earned his second straight team MVP award while posting a team high 27 singles victories in the No. 1 position ... Notched an additional 18 victories in doubles play with five different teammates ... Posted a 7-5 record in conference singles action and an impressive 11-1 mark in tournaments ... Earned eight victories against opponents from ranked teams in singles play.

Earned team MVP award in his first year as a Spartan, notching a team high 30 victories in singles play ... Won 17 consecutive singles matches from Jan. 15 to April 6 ... defeated an impressive nine opponents from ranked teams, including six ranked conference opponents ... earned 22 victories in doubles play in the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions.
