EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's tennis team concluded action today at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, with junior Drew Lied falling to Oskar Wikberg of Wisconsin 7-5, 1-6, 6-2 in the quarterfinal round of singles play. Wikberg advanced to the final round, and will face Raleigh Smith of Northwestern tomorrow.

Three Spartans earned victories in the back draw, as sophomore Gijs Linders, junior Aaron Pfister and senior Christian Roehmer all finished the tournament on a high note. Pfister earned a hard fought victory over Kumar of Northwestern 6-7 (1), 7-5, 10-8. Roehmer also edged out his opponent in a series of close sets, as he took down Swank of Iowa 3-6, 7-6, 10-2. Linders earned a more comfortable win, defeating Dierckx also of Iowa in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.

The Spartans will continue action when they begin the dual season on Jan. 12 with a double header against Wright State and Detroit.
