History versus the Irish: The Spartan's next opponent is the University of Notre Dame. Michigan State will look to end an eight-match losing streak against the Irish. MSU's last dual match victory over Notre Dame was in the 1988 regular season with the Spartans upending the Irish 5-4. Last season, Notre Dame defeated Michigan State in East Lansing 5-2.

Preserving the Streak I: Michigan State's 7-0 victory over Bowling Green on Saturday marked its eleventh straight win over the Falcons. The Spartans swept the singles competition with junior Trey Eubanks at the No. 1, sophomore Ivica Primorac at No. 2, junior Chris Struck at No. 3, senior Ben Hetzler at No. 4, sophomore Francisco Trinidad at No. 5, and junior Mark Jacobson at the No. 6 position.

Preserving the Streak II: The Spartan's also took on Western Michigan Saturday afternoon. Michigan State strolled to a 6-1 victory over the Broncos marking the eighth consecutive victory for MSU over WMU. Captain Eubanks won his second match of the day moving his overall record to 17-3.
