MSU Men's Tennis Begins Action at ITA All-American Championships
Four members of the tennis team kick off the season at the tournament.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's tennis team begins its season on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Will Davis, Drew Lied, Gis Linders and Aaron Pfister will represent the Spartans at the championships.
In the first round, Senior Will Davis is set to face Giacomo Miccini of Arizona on Friday, while junior Drew Lied and sophomore Gijs Linders both received first-round byes and will begin action on Saturday.
Linders will face the winner of Virginia Tech's Amerigo Contini and Martin Ayala of Texas-San Antonio, while Lied will play the winner of Roger Anderson of LSU and Marc Westgate of New Mexico State.
The pre-qualifying rounds will conclude on Sunday, September 30 before the beginning of qualifying round competition begins Oct. 1.
Junior Aaron Pfister, the fourth Spartan competing at the tournament, will begin his play in the qualifying round.
