2003 OUTDOOR: Only competition came at the Big Ten Championships, where he placed eighth in his heat of the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05. 2003 INDOOR: Competed in two meets: Meyo Invitational and EMU Classic ... at Meyo Invite, played third in his heat in the 60-meter dash (7.19) and 23rd in the 200 (22.74) ... at the EMU Classic, improved to 13th in the prelims of the 60 (7.09) and 13th in the 200 (22.55). HIGH SCHOOL: talented track athlete finished second in the 100 meters (10.78) and third in the 200 (21.69) at the 2001 Division I Regional ... PrepStar All-American in football ... named to SuperPrep's, PrepStar's and Prep Football Report's All-Midwest Teams ... rated among the Midwest's top 100 prospects by Tom Lemming (No. 79) ... earned first-team All-Ohio, All-Northeast Ohio, all-league and all-city honors as a senior ... recorded 48 tackles in 2001 to go along with five interceptions and 12 pass break-ups ... intercepted three passes as a junior...rushed for 440 yards and six touchdowns in 2000 while helping his team to a 12-2 overall record, including the regional championship...returned nine kicks (kickoffs and punts combined) for scores during his prep career and had six other TD returns called back due to penalties ... three-year starter for Coach Claude Brown at John R.
