Received the President's Award in April of 2006 - awarded to the top graduating male athlete at MSU - for compiling a 3.97 GPA in physiology. 2006 (Indoor): Did not compete. 2005 (Outdoor): Placed 48th at the Hillsdale Relays 5K with a time of 14:51 and 23rd in the 5K at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships...CoSIDA third-team Academic All-American in the Cross Country/Track & Field University Division...named first-team Academic All-District. 2005 (Indoor): Placed 13th in the Notre Dame Invitational 3K (8:25)...finished 17th at the Meyo 5K (14:43)...finished 12th at the Big Ten Indoor Championships 5K (14:54). 2004 (Outdoor): Finished 17th at the Notre Dame Spring Opener 1500 (4:12)...first in the Spartan Open 5K (14:54)...placed 26th at the Hillsdale Relays 5K (14:53)...named first-team Academic All-District. 2004 (Indoor): Second in the Central Michigan Invitational mile (4:25)...seventh at the Notre Dame Invitational in the 3K (8:36)...placed 17th at the Big Ten Championship 3K (8:32). 2003 (Outdoor): Ran in the Eastern Michigan Twilight 5K (15:28). 2003 (Indoor): Placed 16th at the Red Simmons Invitational 3K (9:07)...finished sixth Notre Dame Dual Meet 3K (9:06). 2002: Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons. High School: Best cross country time was 16:36...best cross country finish in state competition was fifth-place finish in the Michigan's Division IV...two-time all-state honoree in Michigan Division IV...was the individual champion at both the Laingsburg and Lakewood Invitationals in 2000...did not compete in track...all-state soccer in Michigan's Division IV (2000)...Co-Valedictorian...Detroit Free Press Scholar-Athlete.
