2/3/2012 Spartans Set To Host No. 6 Ohio State On Senior DayMichigan State welcomes another ranked opponent into Jenison Field House in No. 6 Ohio State on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 2 p.m. Six Spartans seniors will be recognized in their last home match at Michigan State for their contributions made to the program. Admission to the dual will be free in honor of Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day. 1/29/2012 Spartan Wrestling Falls to No. 11 Michigan, 26-9Michigan State wrestling lost to in-state rival No. 11 Michigan, 26-9, Sunday afternoon at Cliff Keen Arena. Anthony Jones Jr. (157), Ian Hinton (184) and Nick McDiarmid (197) each recorded decisions at their respective weight classes. Heading into intermission Michigan (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten) lead 9-6 over the Spartans (3-8, 1-6 Big Ten). The Wolverines won four of the final five matches to claim the dual victory. 1/27/2012 No. 7 Nebraska Defeats Spartan Wrestling, 27-8The Michigan State wrestling team fell to seventh-ranked Nebraska, 27-8, Friday night at Jenison Field House. Eric Olanowski began the dual with a dominating 15-0 technical fall victory at 125 pounds, and the Spartans led 8-7 after four matches following Dan Osterman's win in the 149 weight class, but Nebraska won the final six matches of the dual to claim the victory. 1/26/2012 Spartans Host Nebraska on Friday, Travel to Michigan SundayMichigan State wrestling welcomes No. 7 Nebraska to Jenison Field House on Friday, Jan. 27 and heads to Ann Arbor to face in-state rival Michigan on Sunday, Jan. 29.
