2004-05: Went 0-2 at the Big Ten Championships, falling to Purdue's Nathan Moore and Minnesota's Matt Koz...Set a career high in dual-meet victories with five, and falls with two...Went 5-2 at 2004 Eastern Michigan Open, good for fourth place...Won his first dual-meet match of the season by major decision, 20-7, over Tim Breyer of Eastern Michigan...Recorded his first fall of the season in just 59 seconds against Andrew Jordan of Old Dominion in the first round of the 2004 North Carolina Open...Defeated All-American, then-No. 14 Ryan Flaherty of Wisconsin, 14-8, to help the Spartans salvage a tie in their dual meet (1/30).

2003-04: Finished 15-23 overall...Took sixth at the Big Ten Championships to earn his first NCAA Championships berth...Went 3-1 and captured second place at the North Carolina Open...Recorded his lone pin of the season against Findlay's Kris Kiepacz at the EMU Open (11/1)...Notched his first career techincal fall versus Jason Sherko of Eastern Ill. at the MSU Open (11/9)... Beat Mike Schmidt of Minnesota 13-1 (1/23), his only major decision in Big Ten competition.

2002-03: Went 11-16 overall with a 2-5 mark against Big Ten competition...Placed second at Muskegon Open...Took fourth place at the Eastern Michigan Open (11/2) with a 4-2 record...Defeated Darrin McCall of Grand Valley with a technical fall at the 6:00 mark at the EMU Open...Beat Matt Nagel of Minnesota, 6-4, at the National Duals (1/18)...Recorded first career major decision victory in a dual meet with a 16-8 thrashing of Northwestern's Brendan Curran...Defeated UNC's Dustin Heist, 5-1 (2/14).

2001-02: Redshirted...Went 19-7 in open tournaments...Had one fall and two techs...Took first place at the Muskegon Open...Placed fifth at the MSU Open (11/18).

Prep: Four-year letterwinner...State champion his senior year with a 42-1 record at 189...League champion his junior and senior years...Posted a 131-34 record in high school...Placed first in freestyle and second in greco at the 2001 Junior Nationals...Was on the championship team at the 2001 Junior National Duals...Also lettered in football, where he was all-league in 1999 and 2000...Senior class Vice President.
