Finished 3-1 in the Michigan State Open, good for third place; recorded a major decision over Dustin Kern of Trine and a fall over Nick Licari of Olivet ... Won two matches at the Simonson Open. PREP: Four-year letterwinner at Blissfield High School ... Was named first-team all-state twice for wrestling ... Served as a two-time captain for wrestling and for football his senior year ... Earned team MVP honors his senior year ... Two-time all-state honoree and also two-time LCAA Conference First Team selection in wrestling ...
