Big Ten Announces 2013 Wrestling Pre-Seeds

Illinois is hosting the Big Ten Championships set for March 9-10.

2012-13 (Sophomore) 21-15 Overall, 5-7 Duals, 16-6 Open Tournaments: Took third place at The EMU Open with a 4-1 record ... Pinned Josh Manu of Missouri Valley to take third went 5-2 at the Reno Tournament ... Finished fourth place, 3-2 at the MSU Open ... Took third place at the Edinboro Open and went 4-1 ... Finished the dual season with a record of 5-7, taking on ranked competition the entire year.

2011-12 (RS Freshman) 8-6 Overall, 0-1 Duals, 8-5 Open Tournaments: Pinned Mike Curby of Eastern Michigan and went 2-2 at the MSU Open ... Finished 2-2 at the CSU Open ... Lost to Luke Sheridan of Indiana in his lone dual match ... Took third place at the Simonson Open and went 4-1.

2010-11 (Redshirt): Redshirted ... Wrestled at 174 and finished the season with an 18-9 record overall ... Took home first place at the EMU Open after recording falls in his first two matches; finished the open 5-0 ... Went 2-2 at the MSU Open ...
