Spartan Wrestling Preps for Reno Tournament of Champions

MSU will compete in Reno for the second straight season.

2012-13 (Freshman) 18-7 Overall, 18-7 Open Tournaments: Finished 5-0 at the EMU Open earning him first place ... Recorded a 2-0 performance at the MSU Open ... Finished the NLO Open with a 1-2 record ... Went 1-2 at the Reno Tournament ... Came in fifth at the Purple Raider Open with a 4-2 record ... Finished the year by going 5-1 at the Edinboro Open, pinning Justin Meisermen of Buffalo to take third.

PREP: Compiled a 194-24 record wrestling at Roseville High School ... Was named captain for his senior season ... Placed third in the state in both his sophomore and senior seasons and finished runner-up his junior year.
