03/28/2012 2011-12 Winter Academic All-Big Ten Selections AnnouncedForty-nine Spartans student-athletes were recognized for having a 3.0 or better GPA. 11/13/2011 Sixteen Spartans Place at MSU OpenDavid Cheza (157 pounds) and Nick Proctor (165) win individual titles. 2010-11 (Redshirt) 7-10 Overall: Went 7-10 overall and 7-9 against NCAA competition at 165 pounds . . . Went 2-2 at the Eastern Michigan Open . . . Placed fourth at the MSU Open with a 3-2 record . . . Went 1-2 at the Penn State Open . . . Also participated in the Simonson Open (1-2) and National Collegiate Open (0-2). PREP: Two-year letterwinner in wrestling ... Placed third at the 2010 Michigan Division 1 state championships at 145 pounds and finished his senior season with a 48-8 record ... Named a team captain his senior year ... Earned all-county and all-league honors his senior year ... Helped lead team to league championship and the Division 1 quarterfinals in 2009. PERSONAL: Son of James and Geralyn Nash ...
