Finished second at the Reno Tournament of Champions ... Competed in 13 dual matches for the Spartans defeating Robert Schlitt of Bucknell 9-5, and defeating Dan Burk from Northern Illinois 3-1 ... Fell in the Big Ten Championships in consecutive matches to Cody Yohn of Minnesota 1-0, and to Northwestern's Pierce Harger.

2011-12 (Red-shirt Freshman) 20-5 Overall, 1-1 Duals, 19-4 Open Tournaments: Finished in sixth place in the freshman/sophomore division at the EMU Open despite suffering an injury ... Won the freshman/sophomore division of the MSU Open and went 4-0 ... Won his first career dual on Dec. 3 over Ray Schlitt of Bucknell, 4-1 ... Went 3-2 at the Reno Tournament of Champions ...
