Also notched an 18-3 major decision over N.C. State's Dane Coffee at the ACC-Big Ten Clash ... Picked up four wins at the PSU Open, including a technical fall against King College's Bill Edwards and a fall against Lock Haven's Travis Stern ... 2006-07 (RS Freshman): Starter at 197, recorded a 12-22 NCCA record...Went 2-2 in major decisions and earned one fall...Appeared in 14 dual meets...Placed second at the Cleveland State Open and sixth at the Eastern Michigan Open...Earned first win of the season forcing Ohio State's Andy Mackenzie to fall in 3:49 at the EMU Open, and tallied an 11-2 major decision victory against Cleveland State's Benny Balogh...Opened action at the MSU Open with a major decision win over Findlay's Josh Fox, then took Ohio State's Jason Cook, 7-3...Won first three matches at the Cleveland State Open, including wins over Gannon's Jacob Tazzi, Purdue's Dave Pisarcik and North Carolina's Justin Dobies...Defeated Indiana's Nate Everhart 3-2 for first dual win...Also picked up a dual win over Oklahoma's Josh Hinton, 10-8.
