Wrestling Places 18 at Eastern Michigan Open

Hermilo Esquivel, Chris Nash and Michael McClure finished first in their respective divisions.

2012-13 (Redshirt) 7-8 Overall, 7-8 Open Tournaments: Finished in third place at the EMU Open with a record of 4-1 ... Went 0-2 at the MSU Open ... Missed most of the season due to injury.

2011-12 (Freshman) 9-6 Overall, 1-3 Duals, 8-3 Open Tournaments: Placed third in the freshman/sophomore division of the EMU Open with a 6-1 record ... Went 1-1 at the MSU Open before suffering an injury ... Helped the Spartans defeat Indiana, 21-20, with his first career dual win over Joe Duca of Indiana in sudden victory, 6-4.
