PREP: Three-time state champion . . . ranked No. 24 recruit in the nation according to www.d1collegewrestling.net and No. 33 according to Intermat . . . compiled a 230-2 high school record, good for eighth on the Flint-Area's all-time victories list, including 163 pins and 118 consecutive wins . . . his only high school losses were to Division 1 finalist Terrance Frank of Grand Blanc as a freshman and to Midland Bullock Creek's Ryan Nieman in the state title match as a sophomore . . . went 59-0 as a senior at 152 pounds with 47 pins and claimed his third state title in Division 3 . . . named MichiganGrappler.com's 2011 Wrestler of the Year . . . ranked the No. 1 senior recruit by MichiganGrappler.com for the class of 2011 . . . ranked No. 1 in the final MichiganGrappler.com 2011 Power Rankings (all divisions) at 152 pounds . . . named 2011 Flint-Area Wrestler of the Year by the Flint Journal . . . four-time Genesee Area Conference, Genesee County, regional and district champion . . . 2011 FloNational Champion . . . claimed first place at 140 pounds at the 2010 Super 32 Challenge in North Carolina, one of the top high school wrestling tournaments in the nation; defeated Jason Tsirtsis of Crown Point, Ind., 6-5, to win the title . . . also placed eighth at the 2009 Super 32 Challenge . . . won the inaugural Michigan Grappler Fall Classic at 152 pounds on Oct. 16, 2010, in Tecumseh and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler . . . won the Michigan Division 3 state title at 140 pounds as a junior in 2010 with a 17-4 victory over Elvis Peacock of Chippewa Hills . . . finished his junior year a perfect 59-0 . . . named to the 2010 Michigan Grappler.com Dream Team . . . placed third at the 2010 FloNationals in Walsh, Ohio . . . finished state runner-up at 130 pounds as a sophomore in 2009 with 56-1 record . . . claimed the state title as a freshman at 112 pounds with a 56-1 record.
