EAST LANSING, Mich. - The No. 12 Michigan State wrestling team upended unranked Indiana, 25-12, Sunday afternoon at Jenison Fieldhouse. MSU evens their record at 9-9, 4-5 in the Big Ten, while Indiana falls to 6-7 on the season.

The Spartans took control from the start, winning the first four matches of the dual. Senior captain David Morgan, wrestling the final home match of his career, scored an 11-4 decision at 118 pounds to give MSU a 3-0 lead. Morgan finishes his career with a 35-0 record at Jenison Fieldhouse. Pat McNamara pinned IUis Brian Smiley at 126 pounds, while Issac Miller (134) and Mike Castillo (142) followed with decisions to increase the MSU lead to 15-0.

After an Indiana pin at 150, Greg DeGrand (158) and Will Hill (167) ended any hopes of a Hoosier comeback by winning the next two matches. IU managed to pull to within 22-9 with a victory at 177, but Nick Muzashvili (190) closed the door on the Hoosiers with an 8-2 win. Indiana heavyweight Michael Dixon got a 4-3 decision over Matt Lamb to make the final score 25-12.

Michigan State closes out the regular season February 26th on the road, taking on the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners.
