EAST LANSING, Mich. - Twelve members of the Michigan State wrestling team have earned Academic All-Big Ten honors, the conference announced Wednesday.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten consideration, student-athletes must earn a varsity letter, be in at least their second academic year at a Big Ten institution and carry a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Joe Johnson, a finance major, led the way with a perfect 4.0 GPA and was one of 10 Big Ten student-athletes to be recognized with a 4.0 GPA.
