Spartan Wrestling Alumni and Friends Reunion Set for Sept. 25-26

2010 Wrestling Reunion Information EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State wrestling team is welcoming back former wrestlers and friends of the program for a celebration of the nearly 90 years of wrestling at MSU. The Spartan Wrestling Alumni and Friends Reunion will take place on Sept. 25-26, 2010. The reunion will consist of many activities, beginning with an open room practice by the 2010-11 wrestling team on Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. Following the practice will be a tailgate for alumni and friends outside the wrestling room from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. After the tailgate, the Michigan State football team takes on Northern Colorado at noon in Spartan Stadium. A block of football tickets have been reserved for the wrestling group. The festivities will then move to the Spartan Hall of Fame Cafe for a social from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, the 18-hole golf outing will kick off with registration at 10 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11 a.m. at the Meridian Sun Golf Club in Haslett allowing our alumni and friends the opportunity to get together and play a round of golf with former team members. After the golf there will be a dinner and bar reception on the deck. The cost of the event is $85, which includes the tailgate, Hall of Fame Cafe social, and the golf outing.
