Coach Chandler on Malczewski: “We’ve known Layne for quite some time. His head coach is a former Spartan wrestling alumni, Eddie Skowneski. We were exposed to him early on and have tracked him for a few years. He hasn’t wrestled at any national competitions until this year and he’s had some pretty big time success, which is what we expected. He’s the ultimate competitor. He brings a unique style, and he’s going to be hard to deal with for a lot of people at the college level. I look forward to watching him evolve as a college wrestler.”

Coach Chandler on Omania: “Peyton is a very dynamic, explosive wrestler, who I think will be very fun to watch. He’s been on a couple Greco-Roman world teams, age level world teams, so he has international experience and success. Having that experience is something that we look forward to adding to the program.”
