Michigan State Tops Wisconsin 64-53

Paula Sanders scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to guide 23rd-ranked Michigan State to a 64-53 upset over number 16 Wisconsin in a Big Ten Conference battle.

Cheri Euler added 16 points for the Spartans (16-3, 8-1), who won despite shooting 34 percent (23-of-67) from the field. Michigan State used just seven players in the game and play at Iowa on Sunday.

Ann Klapperich had 17 points and eight rebounds while Karie Cattanach added 15 points, all on three-pointers, for Wisconsin (14-4, 7-3), which held a 30-28 lead at halftime. The Badgers shot only 37 percent from the field (21-of-56).
