Michigan State Cruises to Big Ten Rout of Minnesota

Bella Engen scored 22 points in 17 minutes off the bench and Paula Sanders added 19 as number 24 Michigan State cruised to a 102-51 Big Ten Conference rout of Minnesota.

Cheri Euler chipped in with 12 points and a career-high eight rebounds and Kristen Rasmussen notched her first career double-double with 14 points and a season-high 11 boards for Michigan State (17-4, 9-2 Big Ten). The Spartans led by 21 at halftime and outscored Minnesota in the second half, 55-25.

Angie Iverson was the lone bright spot for Minnesota (3-19, 1-11) with 22 points and 13 rebounds. The Gophers shot just 32 percent (22-of-68) from the floor, made 1-of-15 three-pointers, committed 27 turnovers and were outrebounded, 52-33.
