Reese Leads Michigan State Past Ohio State

Maxann Reese scored 15 points and Kristen Rasmussen added 10 and a season-high 15 rebounds as 24th-ranked Michigan State posted a 72-64 Big-10 victory over Ohio State.

Cheri Euler had 12 points and Tamika Matlock added 11 and seven assists for the Spartans (18-4, 10-2 Big-10), who shot 43 percent (24-of-56) from the field. Matlock set a single-season assist record at Michigan State with 175.

Marcie Alberts scored 12 points, Marrita Porter had 11 and seven rebounds and Tara Mitchem added 10 and five for the Lady Buckeyes (11-12, 3-10), who trailed 32-24 at the half and shot 44 percent (25-of-57) overall.
