Limited Spots Left For Girls' Basketball Individual Camp

There is still time to register for the Michigan State Girls Basketball Individual Skills Camp, although space is filling up quickly. The camp will be held June 27-30 for females ages 3-12. Cost for a resident camper is $405, while commuter campers can attend for $305.

Tori Jankoska Named PARADE High School All-American

Incoming Michigan State women's basketball freshman Tori Jankoska of Freeland High School continued to pile up postseason honors, after being named to the 2013 PARADE High School All-American team. In March, she was named Michigan's Miss Basketball and the state's Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year. The 5-8 guard averaged 30.9 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 4.8 steals this season.

Spartans Travel to Florida State for Big Ten/ACC Challenge

The matchups for the 2013 Big Ten/ACC Challenge were announced by the two conference offices this afternoon, as the Michigan State women's basketball team will travel to Florida State on Wed., Dec. 4. This year's Challenge will mark the seventh year of the event that has been extended to 2016.

Michigan State women's basketball head coach Suzy Merchant announced Monday that Tempie Brown has been promoted to Associate Head Coach, after spending the last four seasons as an assistant coach on her staff.

Spartans Fall to No. 10 Maryland in NCAA Second Round

The Michigan State women's basketball season came to a close on Monday night with a 74-49 loss to No. 10 Maryland in the NCAA Tournament Second Round in College Park. Alyssa Thomas led the fourth-seeded Terrapins (26-7) with 28 points, while Becca Mills and Annalise Pickrel had 12 points apiece for the fifth-seeded Spartans (25-9).
