2/11/2012 Spartans Head to Iowa for Lone Meeting of the SeasonIn an important Big Ten matchup, the Michigan State women's basketball team heads to Iowa for a 3 p.m. ET tip on Sunday on the Big Ten Network. Both schools are in the mix for the conference crown, as MSU is 7-4 and riding a three-game winning streak, while Iowa has won four in a row and are 7-5 in conference play. It is the only meeting of the year between the two teams. 2/9/2012 Spartans Wear Down Northwestern, Win 72-58The Michigan State women's basketball team used a 12-0 run late in the first half to pull away from Northwestern, and cruise to a 72-58 win at Breslin Center on Thursday night. Senior Porsche Poole surpassed 20 points for the fourth-straight game, leading MSU with 20 points and a career high seven assists. Poole is the first Spartan since 2006 to score at least 20 points in four straight games. 2/8/2012 Spartans Host Northwestern Thursday on Big Ten NetworkThe recent hot hand of senior Porsche Poole leads the Michigan State women's basketball team into Thursday night's matchup against Northwestern in Breslin Center. The game is set to tip at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. The win was the 11th straight by the Spartans over the Wolverines.
