MSU Falls To Purdue

Boilermakers deal Spartans first Big Ten loss of the season.

CAREER NOTES: Finished career 11th in school history with 1,182 points ... fourth in school history with 151 3-pointers ... member of the winningest senior class in school history with 103 wins ... played in 134 career games, second most in MSU history.

AS A SENIOR (2006-07): Named Second Team All-Big Ten ... Member of the Academic All-District IV Second Team ... named a Preseason Naismith Trophy candidate ... collected double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds in NCAA Tournament Second Round against Rutgers ... Tied a career-high with seven free throws made ... had 20 points, four rebounds and two steals in Big Ten Tournament semifinals against Purdue (3/4) ... tied career high with 11 rebounds against Purdue (2/11) ... tallied 14th-most points in school history with her career-high 30 points against Indiana State (11/24) ... hit six 3-pointers in the game, the fourth-best performance in school history.

SUMMER 2006: Played on USA Basketball's U20 team that played in the FIBA Americas Championships in Mexico City ... helped the team to a gold medal and a perfect 5-0 record ... averaged 9.6 points and 3.4 rebounds during the tournament.

AS A JUNIOR (2005-06): Honorable Mention All-Big Ten ... started at guard in 32 games in 2005-06 ... one of three captains in 2005-06 ... third on the team with 10.2 ppg ... posted first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds at No. 16 Oklahoma (12/21) ... season-best 23 points and career-high four 3-pointers in win at Northwestern (2/2) ... tied career-high with four 3-pointers and scored 14 points with five rebounds, four assists and three steals in win over No. 11 Minnesota (2/9) ... double-double vs. Iowa (2/16) with 12 points and 10 rebounds ...scored 13 points, all in the second half, and led MSU with nine rebounds in NCAA second-round win over Kentucky (3/20) ... led team with 17 points and hit three 3's vs. top-seeded Duke in Bridgeport Regional semifinal (3/26).

SUMMER 2005: Participated on the 2005 Big Ten Foreign Tour team that played in Belgium and the Netherlands in July ... led the Big Ten squad during the tour with an average of 4.8 rebounds per game while adding 8.2 points and 2.2 assists per game.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Received the team's Coaches Award and Scholar-Athlete Award ... started 28 games, including the last 22 ... averaged 7.7 points per game and had 10 double-digit scoring performances ... also averaged 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals ... in Big Ten games, ranked 30th in scoring (8.8), ninth in field goal percentage (.467) and tied for 15th in offensive rebounds (2.00) ... had a streak of 19-consecutive made free throws snapped vs. Alcorn State (3/19), which is tied for the ninth-best streak in MSU history ... scored 25 points vs. Northwestern (2/3) ... helped lead MSU's comeback victory over Tennessee at the Final Four April 3 with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists ... had seven points in the National Championship game vs. Baylor (4/5).

AS A FRESHMAN (2003-04): Received the team's Most Improved Player award ... averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds ... played in all 31 games, including two starts, averaging 13.3 minutes ... her 18 3-point baskets were the sixth-best total ever for a Michigan State freshman ... had three double-figure scoring games.
