Women's Basketball Team Falls to No. 20 Penn State
Spartans' two-game win streak snapped in 90-66 setback.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (AP) - Andrea Garner had 22 points, eight rebounds and three blocks as No. 20 Penn State defeated Michigan State 90-66 Monday night.
The Nittany Lions (10-4, 2-2 Big Ten) snapped a two-game losing streak.
Kristen Rasmussen scored 18 points and Maxann Reese added 14 for Michigan State (8-6, 2-2).
Helen Darling had 14 points and three steals for Penn State, which forced Michigan State into 27 turnovers and held the Spartans to 38 percent shooting from the field.
Penn State trailed the entire first half until Shawnta Vanzant's basket put the Lions up 41-40 with 1:03 remaining.
Penn State began the second half with a 10-4 run to regain control and eventually built an 18-point lead.
