MSU Head Coach Joanne P. McCallie:
"It was a great blue-collar effort. It was a really aggressive game, very defensive oriented. What a great crowd. I know it wasn't the biggest crowd in numbers, but it sounded like the biggest crowd in numbers. I felt that our players really put it all out there and I thought the crowd matched it in every way. I think Breslin is becoming one of the greatest basketball environments across the country and I think it is very hard to play here because our crowd is very, very loud. I appreciate that."
On the second half comeback...
"I think this team is really growing now. I think that they have really stepped up as a group. I think our team has more heart than most teams combined. I think what people don't realize is that this team has four people with experience. This is a very young basketball team. I love what they are doing to develop their team. Sometimes it has been hard, but this will be good for the future."
On the full-court press...
"Our press has improved over the past two years in particular. Al Brown has done a great job, as we have gone more from the delayed press to the more active press. We are very proud of that. I thought Victoria (Lucas-Perry) was very smart, she didn't force anything, but she was very aggressive when she needed to be. Rene (Haynes) played just savvy defense, and I think she made Indiana go faster than they wanted to. Aisha's (Jefferson) athleticism is something you can't teach. "
