WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Katie Douglas scored 19 points Thursday night to lead No. 21 Purdue past Michigan State 53-41.
The Boilermakers (18-7, 10-5 Big Ten), the defending NCAA champions, had lost two in a row.
Camille Cooper and Shinika Parks each added 10 for Purdue.
Down 37-26 early in the second half, the Spartans scored eight consecutive points. Purdue then went on an 11-0 run that stretched the lead to 48-34 with 5:18 to go.
After shooting 42 percent from the field in the first half, the Spartans
fell off to 24 percent in the second half.
