• The 60-53 win marked back-to-back victories for Michigan State over Ohio State for the first time since 1998 (MSU won five meetings in a row over the Buckeyes in a two-year span from 1997 and 1998).

• MSU's win over No. 17/18 Ohio State was the first win over a ranked team this year for the Spartans. Michigan State has 28 wins over nationally ranked opponents since the 2001-02 season. It also marked Coach Suzy Merchant's first-ever win over a ranked team in her coaching career.

• The crowd of 8,705 was a season high...it was the 10th largest crowd in MSU history...MSU is averaging 6,016 fans this season through six home games.

• In two career games against Ohio State, Allyssa DeHaan is averaging 21.5 points and 7.0 rebounds...she scored 25 points with eight rebounds in MSU's 62-59 win at Ohio State last season...she scored a game-high 18 points with six rebounds in Sunday's game.

• DeHaan was 8-for-20 from the field...the 20 field-goal attempts represent a career high...she tied a career low with just four shots in the last game vs. Minnesota...she was also held to four field-goal attempts at Providence on Dec. 20.

• MSU had a season-high 22 offensive rebounds and 12 steals against the Buckeyes...Brittney Thomas and Kalisha Keane tied their season highs with five and four steals, respectively.

Kalisha Keane scored 17 points against the Buckeyes...she has scored in double-figures 11 times this season in 14 games.

Mia Johnson played a season-high 24 minutes and also recorded a career-high eight rebounds...she scored her first basket of the season with a 3-pointerin the first half.
