East Lansing, MI - Michigan State is off to the quarterfinals of the Women's National Invitation Tournament where it will face Big Ten rival Wisconsin on Wednesday, March 17 in Madison, Wis.
Tipoff is slated for 8:30 p.m., EST at the Kohl Center.
Sophomore center Becky Cummings propelled the Spartans into the final eight with her last-second basket to lift MSU to a 69-68 victory over Michigan on March 14.
The winner of Wednesday's game advances to the WNIT semifinals and will play the winner of the Arkansas State-Memphis game.
Michigan State climbed to 17-13 overall with its win over Michigan on March 14.
The Spartans have won two-straight and are 5-2 in their last seven games.
Wisconsin improved to 16-13 on the season with its second-straight win, an easy 107-85 victory over Siena in the second round of the WNIT on March 14.
The Badgers are 6-1 in their last seven games with their only setback a 70-61 loss to Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament.
