Women's Basketball To Face Wisconsin In WNIT Quarterfinals
Spartans will travel to Madison for second straight year.

East Lansing, Mich. - The Michigan State women's basketball team will face Wisconsin in the quarterfinals of the Women's National Invitational Tournament on Wednesday, March 22. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m., EST at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wis.
The Spartans advanced to the quarterfinals for the second straight season with an 88-83 road win over Cincinnati on March 18, while the Badgers advanced with an 82-76 victory over DePaul today.
For the second straight year, MSU and Wisconsin will meet in the quarterfinals. Last year, the Badgers defeated the Spartans 70-69 in overtime at the Kohl Center.
MSU (19-11) and Wisconsin (18-12) tied for fifth place in the final Big Ten standings with an 8-8 mark. The two teams split the season series with MSU collecting a 75-61 win in East Lansing on Jan. 9 and the Badgers earning a 77-69 victory in Madison on Feb. 13.
