The team, headed by former Spartan assistant and current Michigan head coach Sue Guevara, will depart Chicago on August 7. The 2000 tour team includes 12 players, one from each conference school and two from Michigan. Reese, who will be a sophomore, started 30 games as a redshirt freshman and averaged 5.5 points and 4.8 assists per game. The 5-7 point guard also was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team. "We are extremely excited for Mina and the great opportunity that she has to play with the Big Ten Tour Team," MSU coach Joanne P. McCallie said. "She is developing into one of the top guards in the conference and this tour gives her the chance to face some strong international competition. Mina will have tremendous athletic and cultural experiences during her trip and we look forward to her coming back to campus and sharing those experiences with the rest of us."
