Women's Basketball Changes Green & White Game to Nov. 2

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State women's basketball program announced today that the annual Green & White Game has been moved to Sunday, Nov. 2. The Spartans will tip at 1 p.m. inside the Breslin Center. Admission is free.
Michigan State returns all five starters from a team that won 23 games and advanced to the WNIT finals last season. Junior Allyssa DeHaan highlights the returners, having earned First Team All-Big Ten honors last season, while leading the team in points, rebounds and blocks. DeHaan broke her own Big Ten and school single-season record with 150 blocks. The sophomore pair of Kalisha Keane and Brittney Thomas look to build off of their freshman seasons, where Keane was second on the team behind DeHaan in points and rebounds, while Thomas led the team in assists and minutes played. Redshirt junior Aisha Jefferson returns after missing all of last season due to an ACL injury. Jefferson as an All-Big Ten performer as a sophomore, one of four all-conference selections on the MSU roster.
Michigan State begins the exhibition portion of its schedule on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. with a matchup against Saginaw Valley State at Breslin.
