The Spartans will bring two eight-person boats and two four-person boats to Sunday's competition.
Junior Liz Schafer leads the Spartans into Sundayis racing as MSUis captain.
HOME RACE ON THE HORIZON:
After a visit to the Head of the Eagle in Indianapolis, Ind., Saturday, Oct. 18, the Spartans host their only home race of the fall. Grand Valley State will come to the Grand River Oct. 26 for the Michigan State Invitational.
QUOTING COACH BRYANS:
"It is really exciting to get going. I'm much more interested in how they take the whole thing in than how they do. Racing is a test for us, but every day is important. We can't just use races as inspiration."
